This module creates the following resources

  • VPC
  • Public and private subnets
  • NAT gateway

A secondary CIDR range is added to the VPC. Later on in the EKS layer, EKS will be configured to use the secondary CIDR. See https://aws.amazon.com/premiumsupport/knowledge-center/eks-multiple-cidr-ranges/
